March 16, 2021 - Seminar - “Short Circuit Current Ratings - What It Is and Why Is It Important" - CLOSED
This two hour presentation will explore the requirements for labeling of electrical equipment and the methods of calculating short circuit and ground fault current capabilities. An engineering overview of equipment fault current rating will be presented. Also discussed will be an in-depth explanation of electrical hazards, and arc flash capabilities based on incident energy capability.
The instructor for this seminar will be Christy (Rosati) McElhinny, a graduate of Villanova University and a field Applications Engineer at Eaton Corporation, Bussmann Division. Her specialty is SCCR and fuse application. She has been with Eaton Bussmann Business as a technical specialist teaching and consulting for over nine years.
